Operating Guidelines

Choice of configuration be based upon know force required for the successful operation of the task.
WARNING Should the applied force exceed the approximate torque rating, failure may occur; Any failure in the shaft would usually be progressive rather than sudden, and may be audible.
All square drives incorporate the plunger method of attachment of socket for safer operation (especially in live line operating conditions). Alternatively, users may request permanently fixed sockets.
Square drives are manufactured in Chrome Vanadium Boron Steel and have torque ratings far in excess of loads stated; however, it is imperative that only IMPACT sockets are used in heavy Railway operations.
The usual range of extensions and converters may be used in conjunction with JAFCO TEE DRIVERS, subject to stated approximate torque ratings.
